Yehudi Menuhin in Croydon - 1966

from Unfinished Journey, page 367:

Their first public appearance was at nearby Croydon in December 1966, within the framework of a series of children’s concerts. The works played were one of Handel’s Concerti Grossi and the first movement of Bach’s Double Concerto. The emphasis was on the orchestra – in contrast, as I have suggested, to the Moscow Central School of Music.
