Ignatz Moscheles in St. Augustine's Church - 1827

Yesterday Mozart's Requiem was performed as a commemorative service in the St. Augustine Church. The church, although a large one, could not contain the crowd that thronged there. Lablache sang the bass part. The leading publishers of Vienna suggested this service.
