Since the last entry there have transpired four public performances of Winter Pages: the tryout on Saturday at six in Soho, during which I introduced the piece to a large crowd sitting on the floor... the premiere Sunday at five... the second performance Monday... and last night, when I attended with Ellen Adler and JH... The thirteen movements take close to forty minutes and are accompanied by my program note, which is almost as long but fairly clever, describing my work as a memoir...
