Three-hour confab for the French Radio on "Paris-New York" at the WNYC studios on ths deserted Saturday... Guests: me, Elliott Carter, plus David Noakes and later Barry Brook... A shambles. Monsieur Damian based the roundtable on his slanted givens, which weren't necessarily ours... He played a tape of Amériques while the rest of us twiddled our thumbs.
