Benjamin Lumley in Her Majesty's Theatre - 1847

from Reminiscences of the Opera, page 181:

"I Puritani" followed, with Castellan and Gardoni. Lablache, the true and loyal, made his first appearance for the season on this occasion, and was received with a salvo of cheers and shouts which evidenced an appreciation of his fidelity to the old cause, besides that of his transcendent merits as an artist. Coletti, as Riccardo, added to the completeness of the cast, which was in all respects excellent. But not even this excellence was sufficient to answer the standing question, "Where is Jenny Lind?"
