As announced last week, there is a database update that affects both the data and their presentation on this site. Thank you for bearing with us during the scheduled downtime of Friday morning.
Here is the changelog:
Update: The site is back online. Data refactoring is still underway. Don't worry about the 'undefined' objects as they will be fixed in the next few days.

The update and testing are expected to take approximately two hours, during which all site facilities, including data entry, will not be available.
An outline of the updates will be posted here once the task is complete.

* We are moving to a new controlled vocabulary for socio-economic status, so the values to select from have changed. We expect the new proposal to integrate better with the values for the Occupation field.
Update: the mini-map is now able to render places extracted from text and trip start/end points.
A major site update was rolled out today. This revision mostly addresses features of the data entry form for registered contributors, and upgrades the data model of listening experience.
