After its first round of contributions from the LED community, the Listening Experience Database is now making itself heard in academic research communities on groundbreaking study fields in digital information!
The initial LED datamodel is scheduled for presentation on September 12, 2014 at the 1st International Digital Libraries for Musicology workshop (DLfM 2014), in conjunction with the ACM/IEEE Digital Libraries conference 2014, one of the major international forums in Digital Libraries. This will be a joint presentation by LED research associates Simon Brown and Alessandro Adamou.
In addition, LED will be among the technologies to be demonstrated on October 21, 2014 at the 13th International Semantic Web conference, arguably the largest international academic events in the fields of the Semantic Web, of which LED embraces Linked Data and Web ontologies. The demo will be run along a three-hour period during the poster and demo session of the main conference.
Both events are a prelude to the upcoming launch of the LED open data platform for data-intensive application developers. More on it soon.
