[T]he 79th (Cameron) Highlanders, formed in hollow square, were awaiting the enemy’s attack. The situation was doubtful, every nerve was tense, and then Piper Kenneth M’Kay, true to his calling, calmly paraded around the outside of the square playing [‘Cogadh no Sith’ (War or Peace?)].
