Jack Brymer in Chancery Lane tube station - 1987
from Coda: Sempre Risoluto, Ma Con Dolore ('Keep On Trying But Expect the Worst'), pages 231-232:
An hour later, descending the same escalator, I was delighted to hear a young virtuoso of the flute dashing off the Badinerie from Bach's B Minor Suite for flute and strings, accompanied by what looked like the same rent-an-orchestra machine. She was equally excellent.
