Chopin in Warsaw - September, 1828

I have so far heard no opera either better or worse than our own. What troubles I should bring upon myself! At the moment Kurpinski is in Cracow and Zylinski is in charge at the opera. Yesterday Freischutz was shockingly badly performed. The members of the chorus came in a quarter of a beat after each other.
