Sergei Prokofiev in St. Petersburg - late February, 1910
from Sergei Prokofiev diaries: 26 February 1910, page 152:
Hansen* liked to walk continually round the corridors, and I went with her, so that by the time I got home my feet were as sore as anything. We played a duet version of Liszt's 'Mephisto Waltz'; she is a good sight-reader and I enjoyed playing with her. She says herself that she has a natural technique, and indeed it is very good. She is proud and touchy, however, and whenever she goes wrong (especially if I start laughing), her face turns red.
