Sergei Prokofiev in St. Petersburg - 21 December, 1912
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 21 December 1912, page 272:
I dined at the Ruzskys and played my Ballade with him; he likes it more and more and promises to learn it properly so that he will be able to play it really well. Meanwhile his intonation is cruelly out in the Andante.
