First representation of 'Fidelio' for the début of Schröder-Devrient: she and Haizinger inimitable, and the public so enthusiastic during the whole evening that the 'Overture,' the 'Canon,' the 'Prisoners' Chorus,' and the whole 'Finale' were encored.
