Letter from Mrs. Delany to Mrs. Dewes, Clarges Street, March 22, 1743-4 - Last night, alas ! was the last night of the oratorio : it concluded with Saul : I was in hopes of the Messiah. I have been at ten ten oratorios, and wished you at every one most heartily.
