Sergei Prokofiev - 4 April, 1913, at night
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 4 April 1913, page 361:
There was nobody very interesting at Saburov's, and it was tedious. But, thank God, it was over quite soon and by ten I could gratefully be back at my score. Old man Saburov impressed me all the same by belting through a lot of music by heart, not easy stuff either, ending up with some Variations by Henselt that he had read through with the composer himself all of fifty years ago.
