Sergei Prokofiev in Pavlovsk - 5 May, 1913, at night
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 5 May 1913, page 395:
When we got to Pavlovsk we went straight to the park and strolled happily about until nine o'clock. Returning to the station we went into the concert hall and heard a snatch of whatever music was being played at the time, then it was the interval, which plunged us into the most almighty crush.
