I was extremely worried in the Intermezzo that I might modulate to a tonality I did not mean to, and indeed this did happen, resulting in a highly disagreeable moment when I heard the orchestra coming in in a different key to the one I had landed on. Nevertheless I quickly managed to extricate myself. and in the Finale I was quite calm and it went better.
