Sergei Prokofiev in Saint Petersburg Conservatory - 5 November, 1913, in the afternoon

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 15 July 1914, page 535:

After the lesson [S.P.'s piano lesson], which was in Yesipova's house, I went to the Conservatoire. I still had three-quarters of an hour to wait before Tcherepnin's class, so I sat and chatted with some of Yesipova's female students about musical current affairs. Then I went through Beethoven's Violin Concerto with Tcherepnin and Tilya Hansen, who is very nice and plays magnificently.
