Sergei Prokofiev in Saint Petersburg Conservatory - 7 November, 1913

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries:7 November 1913, page 536:

There followed the interval, and then Shklyarovskaya* interpreted the Liszt concerto with a sence of rhythm that can only be described as wayward. An over-excited Lyapunov, a nervous Tcherepnin, a large number of listeners in the audience, a rehearsal lasting almost an hour and a half - it was all exhausting, but interesting.
