In the evening I attended the concert. These days this is something of an event for me, as I have practically given up going to concerts since the spring. I thought how silly I had been when I entered the attractive Hall of the Nobility* and saw the crowds of music-lovers, among them many people I know, the whole environment giving me the greatest pleasure. I heard Prometheus which, for the greater enlightenment of the dull-witted audience, was played twice - an enterprising and not particularly stupid procedure.
