Sergei Prokofiev in Free Theatre, Moscow - 29 November, 1913, in the morning
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 29 November 1913, page 554:
The train arrived in Moscow at half past ten; I went straight to Derzhanovsky, who made telephone calls both to Jurgenson and to the Free Theatre. The latter I went to straight away, while Boris Petrovich [Jurgenson] would expect me at four o'clock. Saradzhev welcomed me extremely affectionately and took me into a piano rehearsal of Kashchey, which had not quite finished. I enjoyed listening to this lovely opera.
