Started selling tickets at 6:30; stopped selling at 7:45, turning away about 500 people, but they stood on the outside and listened to the music, for we have a fine orchestra. Fred Kewley, leader and clarinettist; H. B. Howard, piano; John [sic] Robinson, drums; John Porter, bass; David Jones, alto; Willie Hightower, cornet.
