in Royal Festival Hall - the 1950's

from Southbank Centre Archive:

I came with my father to see the ballet of "Alice in Wonderland " - my first visit and my first ballet. We had been doing "Alice" at school and to see it come to life was amazing . The memory has remained with me ever since. We sat in one of the boxes - just like sitting in a drawer.
