Sergei Prokofiev - 7 February, 1914, at night
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 7 February 1914, page 597:
Mama left for the concert earlier than I; I changed, ran through some of the pieces and set out quite fresh for the concert. The first half of the programme had started by the time I arrived: works by various composers. Some Stravinsky songs and a sonata for N. M. [Nikolay Myaskovsky] were not without interest, but were not well performed.
