in Royal Festival Hall - in the beginning of the 1950's
from Southbank Centre Archive:
I studied Spanish at King's College from 1950 - 1953. The first concert I attended was Victora de los Angeles accompanied by Gerald Moore, and as soon as we could we held the K.C.L. Commemoration Ball in the RFH (formerly it took place at Claridges)
