in Royal Festival Hall - between 1962 and at the end of the 1990's

from Southbank Centre Archive:

We attended a concert in 1962 when we were engaged, and in the programme notes was a reference to "young lovers", we were listening to a performance of Schumann's Piano Concerto in A. We had a box in the R.F.H and listened to a riveting performance of Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No.2, my husband, daughter, son-in-law and I were all enchanted, around 1997/8.
