Sergei Prokofiev in Saint Petersburg Conservatory - 9 May, 1914
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 9 May 1914, page 674:
Not many people turned up at the rehearsal today because it is a holiday, but among those who did ome was Glazunov. He has been meaning for some time to conduct the accompaniment for Golubovskaya and Berlin, no doubt as a snub to me, but has not been well. Now he has recovered he is getting to work. The orchestra greeted him with a fanfare.
