Sergei Prokofiev in Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, KIev - early April, 1915
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 3-12 April 1915, page 33:
I stopped off in Kiev and spent a day with Glière, who had convened all the professors at the Conservatoire to meet me. They all knew my music, had the scores, and were enthralled by my playing (apropos, I made the acquaintance there of the violinist Kokhánski and the composer Szymanowski, whose music I liked very much).
