Sergei Prokofiev in Paris - 10 May, 1920, in the afternoon
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 10 May 1920, page 508:
Stravinsky then asked me to do a second proofrading of his new ballet Pulcinella, boasting that it was completely error-free. I did so, and unearthed two. The ballet is written in an antique style, and it is an extraordinary coincidence that three years ago I had composed my 'Classical' Symphony and now Stravinsky, knowing nothing about this, had written a classical ballet.
