Sergei Prokofiev in Chicago Opera - 5 November, 1921, in the morning

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 5 November 1921, page 621:

I thought I was going to have a free morning, but Polacco* telephoned at nine to say that there was to be another orchestra rehearsal at ten o'clock. My neck is better. We went through Act Three, and I quickened the tempo in the scene where the Prince and Truffaldino creep towards the kitchen. It is all goin well and Polacco is full of praise.
