Sergei Prokofiev in London - January, 1924

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 21 January 1924, page 12:

Rehearsal at 10.30 with Goossens,* who accompanied very well given that he had never heard the Concerto before, and we fitted together admirably. The Concerto was my No. 1, a shame that it was not the Second, but it will take all my time to learn that for Koussevitzky in the spring.
