Sergei Prokofiev in Paris - 28 May, 1924, in the afternoon

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 28 April 1924, page 47:

Ptashka has a fearful cold and is in bed. Yuryevskaya came and we made a selection of my songs. She is taking it upon herself to learn eight songs in two weeks, almost none of which have been sung in Paris. So much for the Janacopulos attitude.

Notes

S.P. seems to have still been irritated by Vera Janacopulos's last minute withdrawal. Zinaïda Yuryevskaya was her replacement.
