In the afternoon, the chorus rehearsal of Seven, They Are Seven took place. The choir knows the work very well and sings it better than I had expected, in places with real passion. Especially impressive was 'Be ye exorcised! Be ye exorcised!' just before the timpani solo. On the other hand, the chorus glissandi sound less effective than I had expected.
