Sergei Prokofiev in Conservatoire de Paris - 1 March, 1925, at night

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 1 March 1925, page 141:

Piano Concerto performance (No. 3) with the Paris Conservatoire, a colossal success in the packed small hall. This seems to have been the first time without any untoward incidents. The previous day there was a public general rehearsal, but with fewer people. My Violin Concerto was simultaneously being performed in another hall but I was unaware of this as no one had told me.
