Sergei Prokofiev in Paris - 11 June, 1925, at night
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 11 June 1925, page 175:
Afterwards all three of us [S.P, Lina Prokofieva and Miss Olmsted] went to the third of Straram's concerts. The young German Kurt Weill is inventive, but somehow passionless, dead. Two of Schoenberg's Five Orchestral Pieces were strange, unearthly, interesting; the others terminally boring.
