The twenty-second day of October was buried the good Lady Bowes, the wife of Sir Martin Bowes, late alderman and goldsmith of London […] And when all was done, they went and the dirge so home to his place. And the morrow after a goodly Mass sung in Latin and a sermon. And when all was done, they went to dinner there.
