Frances Calvert in Royal Pavilion, Brighton - 1800

from Journal, 1800, page 12:

There was at this time a remarkable pleasant society at Brighton—numbers of agreeable families—and we lived in the most sociable way, meeting every night at one another’s houses.

The Prince of Wales came for a few days to the Pavilion. He gave one musical party at which I was. I played a pool at Commerce with His Royal Highness.
