I will always have warm memories of it. Because I was 8 and asked my 55 year old father to take me, and my sister, which he did. I will always remember and be grateful, for what it must have been like for him, to stand there listening to all that noise.

It was September 15, 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio. I remember a few things. First, the excitement in the air when you see your idols in person. I couldn't believe they were right in front of me! Second, I remember Paul and John joking with each other, and it getting extra screams. I also remember Paul saying "we're going to now do a number from our new album. The song is called 'Things We Said Today'. What is nice is that I saw him about 10 years ago in Berkeley and he announced "we're going to do an old number now called 'Things We Said Today'. So it was a nice circle.

Finally, it was the only Beatles concert, I believe, that was stopped in the middle of the show. The police came on stage and said "if everyone doesn't return to their seats, the show won't go on". They all returned to their seats and then, as soon as the music started, they rushed the stage again. I later read that the Beatles were pissed that they stopped the show.
