The listening experience is in response to the concert ‘Khel: toy stories’: ‘After visiting the Museum of Childhood at Bethnal Green’s exhibition Khel: Toys from India, [primary school] pupils [worked] with professional Bengali musicians Yousuf Ali Khan, Lucy Rahman and Kutub Uddin. Over five weeks, participants explored both children’s and folk songs from Bangladesh and took part in vocal and percussion performance at the Museum […] which included performances from the musicians’ (p. 7).
