Letter from William Warren, 11th August 1733

The Musick which was perform’d occasionally During the time of the act at St Maries & the Theatre was very noble & affecting. I believe there were above 50 Performers, & the celebrated Mr Handel, who is looked upon as one of the most skilfull Musicians in Europe, conducted the whole.
