Diary entry “Wednesday 19” from 19th December 1666
in ye morning My Lord went to visite ye Kings nurse in ye afternoon to ye pallace to a junto where he was very long a man of ye conde de Penaranda who acts a fiole very well and sings very well and did sing like a nun and a priest and all french and English tunes and did make the best sport yt ever I saw in my life.
