[John Donnoly and an accomplice were found guilty on 22 October 1766 of stealing stockings and other items of clothing and sentenced to transportation] Mary Stevens: I sing ballads. Donnoly came to me while I was singing last Friday night, between 6 and 7 o'clock, in Cranbourn-alley, he asked me how Kitty did. Q. Who is Kitty?
