[Mary Ann Simmons] I saw three boys together in the highway in Chick-lane, the prisoner [Benjamin Valew] was one of them; one of them said, D - n your eyes, if you mind we shall get in, and the prisoner went into the shop and took a gown, and delivered it to another boy, who put it under his coat, and ran down the lane; I was on the opposite side of the way; they came by again singing; and Mrs. Bowes's maid laid hold of the prisoner.
