We were to perform in the Small Hall, so it was to all intents and purposes an exam. I was not excessively nervous, but Dranishnikov was in a complete state of funk. Glazunov seated himself, many of the professors opened the scores they had brought, and I played the Concerto. Dranishnikov accompanied well, and I think I did too. |
