Rehearsed the Second Piano Concerto on two pianos with Dukelsky, in preparation for my forthcoming performance in Stockholm. He is a good sight-reader. He was particularly taken with the most unexpected passages, for example the transition to the solo cadenza in the first movement. After this I agreed to his request to accompany him in his Concerto, which is at present in proof. |
