[Letter included in the evaluation report to David Burles from Stuart Ilsley, head teacher Virginia Primary School, dated 17 December 1997] This is just a quick note to say a huge ‘thank you’ for arranging the concert in school by Jan Hendrickse, Clare Salaman and Luke Goss. They were absolutely superb. Rarely have I seen such naturals at work. Not only are they consummate musicians but they also build a quick and exciting rapport with the child audience. Within seconds they had children involved and by the end they had the whole school singing a brand new song from memory. On top of this they were such nice people. |
