The sixteenth day of June was the masters, the Grocers' feast. There dined my lord mayor, Sir Roger Cholmeley, Sir John Lyons, Sir Martin Bowes, Sir William Huet, and Sir William Garrett, Mr. Lodge, Mr. John White, Mr. Christopher Draper, Mr. Rowe, and Mr. Cholmeley, Mr. Martin, Mr. [Humphrey] Baskerville, and Mr. [Richard] Chamberlain of London and many worshipful men and many ladies and gentlewomen. And great cheer, both the waits and clerks singing and a number of viols playing and singing.
