On my way home [from Germany], I made a short residence at Paris, where there was then an Italian comic opera, at which Lazzarini was first tenor, and the principal female singers Strinasacchi and Bolla. The former was the favourite, but she did not strike me as particularly good, and seemed a little passee. |
