On the 5th we heard a concert by Medtner*. It was an interesting event, even though it consisted solely of piano music by a single composer**. The 'Sonaten-Triade' was rather boring, but the smaller pieces were very attractive. He plays well, although his right hand lacks power and I swear that you can hear him breathing as far back as the sixth row. |
