Time now seemed to fly past; my eldest son went to work in London for some time, and after he came back he married. Whilst never neglecting his handicraft, he has followed my advice and cultivated intellectual pursuits as a relaxation. An accomplished pianist, when I listen to his renderings of some of the standard overtures, I am doubly proud to think that the same hands can and do handle the tools of his trade. |
